This year’s Animal Health Summit was one to remember as leaders of the industry came together to highlight advancements in the field and discuss and guide what our connected future holds. Trailblazers were honored for their commitment to animals and humans alike while emerging companies spoke of visions that inspire what’s to come. It was a melding of minds we won’t soon forget.

Here are a few key moments from this year’s gathering.

The Spirit of Service Award
The Grooming Project trains struggling parents in the craft of pet grooming to help them lift their children and selves out of generational poverty. The Animal Health Corridor was proud to honor and spotlight The Grooming Project with The Spirit of Service Award. Learn more about this incredible program here.

Iron Paw Award
Scott Campbell, DVM, was the recipient of the 2022 Iron Paw Award. He grew Banfield Veterinary Hospitals globally and was instrumental in the creation of Hannah the Pet Society. Through the latter, Dr. Campbell was able to remove the primary barriers of having a pet at home, saving the lives of animals who would’ve been euthanized in shelters due to cost. Emerging Companies
