We are committed to your safety! We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will follow advice from the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, our partners in Kansas City, MO and Jackson County to provide a safe and healthy experience.
The following details and guidelines are subject to change based on recommended health and safety policies. The following guidelines are as of November 2022.
-
Masks will be made available for all attendees but will not be required.
-
Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the event venue.
-
COVID-19 vaccinations or negative COVID tests are encouraged but not required.
-
Should you start to feel ill while attending the Animal Health Summit, please return to your hotel room/place you are staying.
-
We will be instituting a system of colored badge stickers that allow you to signal to others whether you want to be in close contact or remain 6 feet apart (Red…let’s keep our distance. Yellow….elbow bumps are cool. And Green…go ahead, give me a hug).
Before you register, please note:
Public health agencies warn some individuals may be at increased risk in public places. Some government health organizations recommend people 65 years and older, those who live in nursing homes or long-term care facilities, and people with underlying medical conditions (particularly if not well controlled) should either remain home or keep their distance from others.
All attendees need to abide by CDC guidelines and recommendations to ensure their own health and safety and to ensure the health and safety of others.
Even with precautions in place, there is still some risk of exposure to COVID-19. We are committed to keeping you healthy and safe and have taken a number of precautions, including those recommended by applicable health authorities, but we cannot guarantee you won’t be exposed to COVID-19.
