TOPEKA, KANSAS, February 17, 2022 -- Plug and Play Topeka has announced 12 startups that were selected for their third batch of the Animal Health Program launched last year. This program aims to bring global innovation to the heartland by facilitating opportunities for business development, mentorship, as well as pilots and POCs between the selected startups and founding partners of the program Cargill, Evergy, and Hills Pet Nutrition. 

The startups, chosen by partners of the program, represent a broad range of new innovations focused on things like sustainability, packaging, AI, alternative proteins, and pet health. 

“We’re excited to invite these 12 startups to participate in our Plug and Play Topeka accelerator,” said Lindsay Lebahn, Program Manager for Plug and Play Topeka. “Our selection process reflects our partners’ needs, ensuring potential partnerships between these companies and startups are that much more impactful — not only for the businesses themselves but for everyday consumers looking for meaningful solutions to some of today’s biggest health-science challenges.”
