Support BioNexus KC’s Efforts Tracking Regional Life Sciences Growth

by BioNexus KC | Apr 16, 2021

Are you an animal health or life sciences company between Manhattan, KS and Columbia, MO? BioNexus KC needs your help tracking the evolution of the life sciences industry.

BioNexus KC has completed an inventory of regional life sciences companies every three years since 2003. The 2021 Census will provide a snapshot of regional strengths and is the only repeated systematic assessment of industry assets in the region. “The census strongly influences regional policy, and assists with both economic and workforce development across the entire Animal Health Corridor,” said Dennis Ridenour, President & CEO of BioNexus KC.  “This year’s census is even more important, as it will help our region track progress and better understand the impact of the pandemic on industry and employment trends.”

BioNexus KC needs help collecting data! Please click here to complete the census.  It will only take 5 minutes.

Section one will be reported on an individual basis and will include:

  • Company name
  • Location
  • Branch/headquarters
  • Areas of specialization/niche
  • Number of employees

Section two will include details that will only be used to report on aggregate trends and totals, and will include:

  • Research funding
  • Sales
  • Growth expectations

Census respondents will be supplied with a digital and/or physical copy of the census upon its completion later this year. The 2018 census is available here. If you have any questions, please contact Donna Gordon.
