KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Wayside recently welcomed a new veterinarian to their staff. Dr. Marta Andelson, DVM, became a Shelter Veterinarian this year.
Dr. Andelson attended Iowa State University, earning her DVM in 2019, and completed a Masters of Public Health from the University of Iowa at the same time. She has worked at Pet Resource Center of Kansas City. She has extensive experience working with private practices, however her passion is in shelter medicine. Dr. Andelson worked for Wayside on a part-time relief basis in the fall of 2022. Dr. Andelson currently has two cats – Lula and Morgana, along with two horses – Sugar Ray and Gus.
