Shawnee, Kansas (Oct. 13, 2022) –

Pet-Ag, Inc., the leading manufacturer of newborn milk replacers, KMR® for kittens and Esbilac® for puppies, came to the rescue of thousands of newborn puppies and kittens impacted by the devastating Hurricane Ian through donations worth more than $1 million. 

In the aftermath of the storm, Pet-Ag is partnering with Greater Good Charities to reach animals in Florida impacted by this natural disaster through a donation of 33 tons of milk replacers and nutritional supplements with a retail value of $1.2 million. The milk replacers will provide life-saving nourishment to newborn and infant animals separated from their mothers.

“Everyone at PetAg is passionate about animals and ensuring that our pets have the best chances at healthy and happy lives.” said Andrea Henderson, Vice President of Marketing. “Pet-Ag is happy to have the opportunity to provide life-saving nourishment to puppies and kittens who became orphans during the hurricane,” 

Additionally, Pet-Ag organized a social media campaign that raised more than 8,500 meals for newborn puppies and kittens. The meals will be distributed through the Pet-Alliance of Greater Orlando, Pet Rescue by Judy, Paws Humane Society, Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach and SPCA of Florida. 

These initiatives continue Pet Ag’s strong history of helping animals in need and the organizations that support this important work. Earlier this year, in partnership with Greater Good Charities, Pet-Ag donated life-saving essential milk replacer products and supplements to more than 100 animal welfare organizations in 15 states.
